Law Firms, Use Your Client Portal!
As in, the one that comes with your practice management system.
Emailing your clients back and forward is dysfunctional, and not very secure.
Using file sharing tools like Dropbox, Drive, OneDrive etc isn’t very professional, or secure.
The time to get it right has never been better as your clients are already transitioning to a new way of working with you.
You will be amazed at how well this will improve operational efficiency in the firm, and how quickly your clients will learn to love it.
As always, i’m here to help if you have any questions.

Hi everyone, Rob here from ServiceScaler In today’s video, I want to touch on the importance of using your client portal from your practice management system as an alternative to email. With everybody working from home, we’re now having to transact or provide and receive our documents, related to our matters from our clients electronically. Now as I’m sure most of you are already aware email is not the best place to have those documents being shared back and forward you’re probably already aware that email isn’t all that secure, it does go to a lot of people and does cause a little bit of chaos in relation to processing those documents and the way to overcome that is to use our client portal as provided with our practice management system. Now in Australia, most of our practice management systems include a client portal which includes the ability to securely upload and download documents related to a matter. As a suggestion, I suggest everybody get on to their client portal get it set up and start uploading and downloading your documents via your client portal against your matters. It will make life a lot easier both for your clients and for your internal staff and we’ll save that fragmented communication channel of using email. Now, if you do need assistance or education on getting up and running with your client portal as part of your practice management solution reach out to me, we’re here to help, either via DM on LinkedIn or contact info on my profile. Cheers.
